System balancing is a necessary but often afterthought portion of HVAC design & construction. Join us as we discuss some testing & balancing techniques and learn what problems an improperly balanced fan can cause. Each building has its own unique challenges and we will be witnessing and resolving fan disasters as well as analyzing equipment in the field under unusual circumstances and using unusual methods.

Chris Braun, of ABC Midwest Solutions, LLC, will do a special presentation on witnessing and resolving fan disasters as well as analyzing equipment in the field under unusual circumstances and using unusual methods.

Prior to ABC Midwest Solutions, Chris had worked for UW Planning and Facilities Management, having been an air balancer at UW-Madison for 15+ years. He has a vast knowledge of the theory & practice of air balancing. His 35 + years of experience has led him to positions with companies such as Balco Services, Walter Rati, Climate Services, Alnor Instrument, and AMCA and now ABC Midwest Solutions, LLC.
