ALL PERSONAL FIRE ARMS MUST BE IN A CASE. FIRE ARMS TO BE CHECKED AND TAGGED AT COUNTER IN ENTRANCE TO STORE. NO FIRE ARMS ALLOWED IN ACADEMY CLASSROOMS. FIRE ARMS WILL BE LOCKED IN A SECURE ROOM DURING DINNER AND PRESENTATION.
ALL ATTENDEES WHO PARTICIPATE IN GANDER MOUNTAIN ACADEMY ACTIVITIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN WAIVERS, VIEW A SAFETY VIDEO AND USE PROTECTIVE GEAR PROVIDED BY THE ACADEMY.
Main Presentation Highlights:
Safety considerations should be part of every aspect of a job, from concept, engineering and bid to final construction, preplanning for safety is critical to the ultimate cost and successful outcome. Jeff will cover the evaluation metrics used to determine if a contractor is considered safe or unsafe, and how those metrics affect company and job specific profitability. Additionally, you will learn how safety programs can and should operate with a positive return on investment.
Presenter: Jeff Hanson, ARM, Safety MAnager at General Heating and Air Conditioning
Jeff has over 25 years of safety and risk management experience. He has implemented successful safety and health programs for many high hazards industries including airline, meatpacking, heavy manufacturing, and food processing. He also has provided risk management and safety consulting services to some of Wisconsin’s largest and most influential contractors for over 10 years.
